The Introductory 2 day course is the quickest and best way to experience the excitement of solo paragliding! The program starts with an introduction to the equipment and some basic theory. We then practice some beginner handling and launching skills on a gentle slope and progress to small flights, working our way up to higher flights. After this program you will know whether or not you are hooked on flying! Courses are scheduled on a regular basis with consideration given to numbers of students enrolled and prevailing weather conditions.

Price: 2 days, $540.00  + TAX

* While every attempt will be made to progress students to the point where 2 or three solo flights can be made of a 300 metre hill, please note that your fee covers instruction and equipment rentals but does not guarantee a flight. As well, please understand that solo flying depends on the judgement of your instructor as to your progress and preparedness after basic instruction. Some students will have longer learning curves than others. In rare cases, your instructor may recommend additional coaching before soloing. Paraglide Canada prides itself on its safety record. Our policy is to not launch students who we feel may need further practice, instruction and/or confidence building.

All courses include up-to-date modern equipment including reserve parachutes , transportation to launch , Radios, and instructor supervision.
