TERMS & CONDITIONS AGREEMENT
Paraglide Canada will always work hard to fulfill your training and goals, but sometimes it is best to have a few simple things written down so that we both know what is what.
These ‘Terms and Conditions’ apply to all of our courses, please read carefully before paying.

To secure your place in a course, a 20% deposit must be placed and the course date nominated. Deposits can be made via Interac E Transfer over the phone, Visa/Mastercard or Direct Debit.
All students will be required to sign both the ParaglideCanada and HPAC waiver prior to course participation or tandem flight. These forms can be printed via the link and presented at the school .
Minimum age is 16 years, (with parent’s consent) to learn to Paraglide
The maximum weight for Paragliding Students is 120kg
We rely on good weather conditions for the safe progression of an individual’s flight training. The Instructor’s decision to fly or not is final. Certain experiences are subject to weather conditions. If in the event the experience is cancelled due to unsuitable weather conditions, an alternative booking will be made available.
When you make your booking you are entering into an agreement with us. Please note the cancellation policy before committing to booking a place in our courses.
We are a small business, so cancellations can have a big impact on us, especially if we have turned away potential students or closed off courses for people who have already booked and who then cancel. However, we are human, and we understand that plans change and that life gets in the way – and that’s why we offer several options on how to change/cancel your reservation.
The appropriate cancellation charge will apply based on the price of your paragliding course, as shown below.
If you wish to cancel your scheduled course, a minimum of 30 days notice applies prior to start date.
In the event of a cancellation up to 30 days prior to the scheduled date, we will offer you a full refund.
If you cancel your reservation within 29 days before of the scheduled course training date, you will forfeit your deposit. You are also welcome to transfer to another course date.
If you cancel within 14 days of the course training date, a cancellation charge of 25% of total price will be charged. You are also welcome to transfer to another course date.
If you cancel your reservation within 7 days of the scheduled course, a cancellation charge of 50% of total price will be made. Please discuss the option of moving to another course date.
If you do not cancel, but you fail to arrive without notification, you agree that 50% of the total price be charged.
You are welcome to move your training dates. We ask that you do this at least 2 weeks prior to your course training so that we can open your position up to other students. Anything after that will be on a case by case basis. Again we are human, so we understand that things HAPPEN! Please keep in contact with us should anything come up that looks like it may prevent you from coming. Thanks for your understanding.
All requests for cancellations must be received in writing by email at firstname.lastname@example.org We will acknowledge receipt of your cancellation by return email. If you are at all concerned, please call Norm on 250-899-3683.
