
Meet the Instructors at Paraglide Canada.

Glenn is a senior instructor at Paraglide Canada as well as a Tandem II pilot under national standards set by The Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association of Canada. Glenn has taught paragliding for more than 25 years and has offered instructor and tandem clinics every year for the past 20 years. He has trained almost every instructor and tandem pilot in British Columbia and many more across Canada.

Jerry has a lengthy background in aviation. He gained his pilot's licence before he could drive and served 29 years in the RAF where he was a navigation instructor on the C130. He's been paragliding since leaving the RAF and moving to Canada in 2005 and teaching paragliding for 4 years. He loves teaching and introducing newcomers to the sport.

Norm is the owner of ParaglideCanada, an instructor and tandem pilot and has been paragliding for 8 years. He has traveled and flown in many amazing countries, enjoys organizing and participating in para tourism by hosting Canadian tours and foreign trips to Colombia, Mexico, and Japan. He is also the Okanagan Soaring Association President. His passion for the sport is endless and he is always willing to help you learn and partake in the sport.


Cooper is starting his third year with the school, he teaches most of the ground school, specialising in aerodynamics. When he's not teaching he likes chasing a frisbee, herding sheep, getting a beer from the fridge and sticking his head out of a truck window at 80km/hr.
