This is a complete course and the absolute best way to learn paragliding (Proven over 25 years) You will start with the P1 Beginner Theory and Ground Handling and then go right into working through remaining theory and flights to achieve a HPAC P2 Novice Pilot rating. We are on site daily and working to complete 25-35 flights through completion of the course. By doing the course with as many back to back days we end up building muscle and mental memory providing thorough and repeatable safe techniques to make sure you learn the best skills. This is a proven technique and we have 100’s of successful students that are now incredible pilots and mentors in our community many of whom will be on site to help in your course. Yes you can learn slowly and over a longer period but you will be a better pilot and build a better foundation in this program. We are happy to discuss what your time commitment will look like and develop a plan for your situation.

TESTIMONIAL

“Paragliding is a sport that demands excellent training, and Norm and the team have it down to a fine art. Paraglide Canada consistently graduates skilled, safe and conscientious pilots in a low-pressure and welcoming environment (a rarity in the paragliding world!). The school’s classes are well structured, the pace of progression is perfect and the sense of achievement and adventure has, for me, been unparalleled. From my first my flight, to participating in advanced XC camps and bespoke international flying trips, it's been a joy to be part of the community, and I unequivocally recommend Paraglide Canada to prospective pilots. This is without question Canada’s premier training ground for free flight.” - Devin Anderson, Squamish Search and Rescue
